Royal Malanka:

The traditions of Malanka in Canada have strong roots and the event is often regarded as the highlight of the year. It is the pride of the community, and its success most often reflects the strength of the organization or groups that put it together.

The idea and planning of Royal Malanka was inspired by a vision that would unite the community through an extraordinary experience. The three key elements that make it very special consist of the iconic venue, world class entertainment, and the mosaic of elegant socialites that attended this event.

The Five Star Palais Royal Ballroom featuring hugely popular Mad Heads XL from Kiev Ukraine, world-famous Vasyl Papaduke, and the local favorites Hudi-A-Mocni, had delivered a dream setting for our guests of what turned out to be a truly special night and an unforgettable experience.

This was a historic night for our Ukrainian community in Toronto, as the prestige of a Malanka has been brought to a new level. At the same time, the support and enthusiasm of the attending guests have insured that we can have similar expectations at the next Royal Malanka in 2013. – Orest Haluszka
